Cable Bracket and hook
DIN 1480 turnbuckle is used to adjust length and tension of ropes and chains.
DIN 1480 turnbuckle is applicable for installation and fastening of masts, antennas and other structures. It can be also used as a length compensator and safety rigging device.

DIN 1480 turnbuckle is made from silver galvanized that is comply with DIN European Standard 1480 and consist of an open tension sleeve with one eye bolt and one hook bolt each with metric M6, M8, M10, M12, M14, M16 or M20 thread.
Tested quality: The DIN 1480 turnbuckles with hook and eye can, due to the hook element and the associated low breaking force, only be used for light tensioning. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the turnbuckles could be determined:
M6: 285kg
M8: 611kg
M10: 917kg
M12: 1,223kg
M14: 1.305kg
M16: 1.835kg
M20: 2.701kg
Attention. The payload of the turnbuckles is given with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: with the help of the right-hand and left-hand thread, the turnbuckle can be tightened and loosened very easily and quickly.
Areas of application: Wire rope tensioners can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension steel ropes. When using turnbuckles and wire ropes, we recommend the following combination:
M6: wire ropes up to a thickness of 4mm
M8: 5mm wire rope
M10: 6mm - 8mm wire ropes
M12: 10mm wire ropes
M14: 12mm wire ropes
M16: 14mm wire ropes
M20: 16mm wire ropes
